A lot has changed since then, and there is a lot in stake for both teams ahead of the fixture this weekend. After an emphatic 8-3 victory over Kiveton last game, Andy Gilligan's squad will still have the chance to finish in 6th place, and grab bragging rights over some of the other teams in the division.

Both teams had spectacular games last time out, with Leeds Modernians drawing 4-4 with Wednesday's close rivals in the table Altofts 2 weeks ago. Modernians will still have to play Altofts again this season, after postponement last weekend.

Albeit unlikely, Leeds Modernians still do have a chance at winning the league, lying in 4th place currently, 4 points off of top of the table Ossett United FC Ladies. They will need a lot of fixtures to go in their favour in order for them to achieve glory this season in the NERWFL.

For the final game this season, we're hopeful the Owlesses will come out on top and end the season on a high note and claim 6th place in this competitive division.
