Wednesday Ladies U9's faced a tough opponent in Dearne & District at home, where they started the game well with completed passes and a great ability to hold their shape.
Wednesday Ladies managed to brilliantly do this throughout the whole game, and even though it was a difficult match, they successfully kept their heads up and continued to communicate and positively motivate each other as a team.
One of the standouts for the U9's include Kara for some fantastic saves in-between the sticks for Wednesday Ladies, whilst Tamzi and Isla more than impressed as a result of their progressive passes into the final third.
After a brilliant performance, Isla was handed the Player of the Match award for showing brilliant signs of teamwork, whilst also putting on a brilliant performance that saw a fine display of passing ability.
The referee also commented on how nice it was that they all motivated the goalkeeper when things got difficult, especially Thea and Sofia, and it was overall a great showing of teamwork for the U9's, who certainly covered themselves in glory for a brilliant display by working as a team.
