Andy Gilligan and Gary Wilson's side are gearing up for their seventh game of the 2024/25 NERWFL campaign with the side looking to notch a third consecutive away victory this Sunday.

The game will take place at Oughtibridge War Memorial Sports Club for a 2pm kick-off.

The Owlesses will be hoping to put the most recent showing against their upcoming opponents behind them after Oughtibridge overturned a one-goal deficit to win 5-3 in the Adobe FA Cup. The goalscorer that day were Wednesday Ladies front three Harriet Lloyd, Nicole Shaw and Amy Broomhead, who all bagged one each.

Last week saw Wednesday Ladies record a comprehensive victory on away soil against their Steel City counterparts as they saw off Sheffield United Community Foundation in a 7-2 win, which notably saw Shaw bag a hat-trick, whilst Beth Ayrton also scored on her first start for the club after joining recently from our opponents this weekend.

Oughtibridge have endured a tricky spell ever since the clash with Wednesday Ladies after not grabbing a single point since the cup clash, including a defeat an Altofts side that the Owlesses saw off earlier on this campaign.
